Crocuses

I never really liked crocuses until being given a whole load of them by the local parks department.

They've been in bloom since early February. The white and yellows were the first to appear, superceded by purples and stripes. I think they look great (if a little unnatural) planted in the turf. Very good value!

Last saturday was the turning point, when winter became spring. Beautiful blue skies, warm sunshine, birds singing and frogs calling.....I love this time of year!
