More images of Chelsea 2007

Moss and water working a treat. A clever idea for those who can't afford a dry stone wall or where space is limited (it's a photograph behind glass), and my favourite plant this year, Erysimum 'Constant Cheer' - I'm in love!

Chelsea 2007

Enjoyed Chelsea this year - Thought that Diarmuid deserved a gold - what does he have to do?

Was less impressed with Sarah Eberles "600 Days on Mars". I guess if your sponsors are Bradstone you have to use concrete but it did nothing for me.

What else...stunning Irises in the Fortnum and Mason garden, fabulous oak sculpture in Andy Sturgeons (less impressed with the boxy pavilion), and the lovely Jinny Blom, posing in her grown up, (and typically Chelsea) garden for Laurent Perrier.

Also out........

Jasmine, Sisyrinchium striatum and from Greenwich Park, the stunning flowers of the Tulip tree.

Out this week

Welsh poppies, Siberian and bearded Irises and Gladiolus communis subsp. byzantinus

Out this week

Bearded Iris (from a job lot Coblands were throwing out) Cercis leafing out, Foxglove (sold by Chiltern Seeds as being a pure white form), Hydrangea petiolaris and an unidentified (but very pretty Euphorbia) backed by Vibernum plicatum 'Mariesii', all out this week. Swifts are back - first heard on 5th May.
